Biographical Information

Toshiaki Inubushi was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the 3rd round of the 1990 NPB draft, and he only got 10 at-bats for the big club in his first 11 seasons. He finally got some chances in 2002, and he played 74 games with a .307/.351/.457 batting line. Inabushi was 7-for-30 in 2003, and he went 4-for-10 in 2004. He was 0-for-2 in the 2004 Nippon Series, and the Lions beat the Chunichi Dragons in 7 games. Inubushi didn't reach the big club in 2005, and he announced his retirement. The outfielder-first baseman had hit well in NPB when given chances, at .295/.341/.442 in 206 plate appearances.
