Biographical Information[edit]
Toru Fujiwara hit .342 with 3 Best Nine awards in his college career, and he won the batting title of the 2001 All-Japan University Baseball Championship Series. He was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 6th round of the 2001 NPB draft, and he only got 14 at-bats combined for the top team in his first five season. Fujiwara 3-for-20 in 2007, but he only played 2 more games before he announced his retirement in 2009.
