Tom Fiall

Thomas Fiall Jr.

Tom Fiall was the brother of George Fiall and a Negro League player from 1917-1931. He debuted with the Cuban Giants in 1917. The next year, he hit .454 for the Brooklyn Royal Giants in their games against other top black teams, leading the club. He would hit second and start in CF for Brooklyn for most of his career. He hit .212 for the team in 1920 and also spent time catching for the New York Lincoln Giants. He returned to Brooklyn and hit .140 for them in 1923. In 1925, he made a comeback with New York briefly and then resurfaced six years later back in Brooklyn to conclude his career.
