Biographical Information[edit]
After a two-year minor league career, Tom Chandler coached at Adamson High School in 1952-1958, then was the coach at Texas A&M University from 1959 to 1984, leading the Aggies to the 1964 College World Series.
Chandler managed Team USA in the 1978 Amateur World Series, the Batavia Trojans in 1986 and the Burlington (NC) Indians in 1987.
Chandler also managed a semi-pro Alpine Cowboys team from 1952 to 1958.
