Biographical Information[edit]
Tokuyoshi Kono has been a trainer for the Japanese national team in the 2000 Olympics, 2002 Asian Games, 2004 Olympics, 2006 World Baseball Classic, 2008 Olympics and 2009 World Baseball Classic, 2013 World Baseball Classic, 2015 Premier 12, 2017 World Baseball Classic, 2019 Premier 12 and 2023 World Baseball Classic. He is listed as a coach in the IBAF Final Report for the 2007 Asian Championship but his role presumably was that of trainer once more.
