Biographical Information[edit]
Tim Kubacki represented the USA in the 1980 Amateur World Series. The New York Yankees picked him in the 17th round of the 1982 Amateur Draft, and he hit .236/.326/.301 in 70 games for the Paintsville Yankees in 1982. He led Appalachian League shortstops in fielding (.941), putouts (109), assists (337) and double plays (35); despite playing the most games there, he was only 4th in errors. He never appeared in another game in the organized baseball. His brother Dan Kubacki is a college coach.
