The New York Times
The New York Times is a newspaper published in New York City and distributed internationally. It is owned by The New York Times Company, which publishes 47 other newspapers, including the International New York Times (formerly the International Herald Tribune) and the Boston Globe. Nicknamed the "Old Gray Lady," and abbreviated as the Times it is regarded as a newspaper of record in the United States. It was founded in 1851.
Murray Chass was a prominent baseball writer for the New York Times, among others.
