Biographical Information[edit]
Tetsuya Haraguchi was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the 3rd round of the 1985 NPB draft, and he was 0-12 with a 8.95 ERA for the San Jose Bees in 1987. He tied for third in the California League in losses, behind Taketo Kanei and Steve McCatty. He went 1-2 with a 3.75 ERA for Seibu in 1988, and he only pitched 10 more games before the Lions released him in 1993. The Daiei Hawks signed him, but he failed to return to the big club and he announced his retirement in 1994.
