Biographical Information

Takuya Shindoh was drafted by the Yokohama BayStars in the 8th round of the 2016 NPB draft; the scout was Takashi Yoshida. He had a 4.20 ERA in 12 games in 2017, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2018. Shindoh's ERA was 9.00 in 5 games in 2019, and he pitched 5 games with a 5.06 ERA in 2020. His 10 saves that year were second in the minor Eastern League, two shy of Yoshinao Kamata. He only got 2 appearances in 2021, and he announced his retirement. He was 8-4 with a 3.47 ERA in 144 games in the Japanese minors.
