Biographical Information

Takumi Kobe was drafted by the Chiba Lotte Marines in the 3rd round of the 2006 NPB draft, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first season. He hit .222/.326/.333 in 27 games for the Honolulu Sharks in winter ball. Kobe hit .208/.224/.354 in 2008, and he was 2-for-16 in 2009. He then played 26 games with a .209/.271/.302 batting line in 2010, and he went 8-for-40 in 2011. Kobe had a 3-for-15 record in 2013, then he announced his retirement in 2014.
