Biographical information[edit]
Takumi Hamaoka is a former minor league baseball outfielder who played from 2006 to 2007 in the Atlanta Braves system. In 2006, he played for the GCL Braves, hitting .253/.319/.301 in 33 games (83 at-bats). He again played for the GCL Braves in 2007, hitting .212/.236/.247 in 45 games (85 at-bats). Overall, he hit .232 with no home runs and 14 RBI in 74 games (168 at-bats). On October 11, 2007, it was announced that he would practice with the Hanshin Tigers, but he didn't joined them and his professional career ended.. While in high school, he hit 35 home runs.
