Biographical Information

Takeshi Kaneko was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 9th round of the 2014 NPB draft, and he pitched 10 games with a 3.95 ERA in 2015. He only pitched one more game for the big club, and he announced his retirement in 2017. He had gone 7-8 with 9 saves and a 3.91 ERA in ni-gun; his 7 saves in 2016 were third in the Western League, four behind Shinya Kayama and Daisuke Sobue.
