Biographical Information

Takeshi Arai signed with the Kintetsu Buffaloes in 1957, and he had a 3.81 ERA in 13 games in his first season. He pitched 15 games with a 3.24 ERA in 1958, then he announced his retirement. Arai later became a scout, signing Yukio Ozaki.
