Biographical Information

Takahiro Shoda was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 6th round of the 2003 NPB draft, and he stayed in the minors in his first three seasons. He hit .289/.386/.421 in 24 games in 2007, and he was 7-for-23 in 2008. Shoda only played 4 games for the top team in 2009, and he announced his retirement in 2010.
