Biographical Information

Taiyo Sato has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Sato was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the 2nd round of the development phase in the 2024 NPB draft; the scout was Jun Takeshita. He hit .285/.361/.390 in 74 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2025, and he was 5-for-30 with the top team. The shortstop's six triples on the farm tied Taisei Chinen for third in the Eastern League.
