Biographical Information

Tadao Toda signed with the Chunichi Dragons in 1954, and he only got 2 at-bats in 1955. He won the batting title of the Western League in 1956, and he had a 6-for-36 record for the top team. Toda went 3-for-25 in 1957, but he only played 7 games in 1958 and he announced his retirement.
