Biographical Information

Tadaatsu Nakazawa was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 7th round of the 2000 NPB draft, and he only got 16 at-bats before the Dragons traded him to the Softbank Hawks in 2005 for nothing. He played 46 games with a .171/.200/.329 batting line in 2006, and he mainly stayed in the minors in 2007. Nakazawa then recorded a .242/.297/.318 batting line in 58 games in 2008, but he only got 10 more at-bats before he announced his retirement in 2012.
