Biographical Information[edit]
Relief pitcher Steve Martin played in the Los Angeles Dodgers system from 1982 to 1985. He was in Triple-A by his third campaign, 1984, and spent a full year (1985) at that level, but he never reached the major leagues. He finished second in the Texas League with 56 appearances in 1984, behind Joe Graves' 58.
Overall, he went 17-30 with a 4.48 ERA in 152 games (39 starts). In 414 innings, he allowed 438 hits and 253 walks (1.669 WHIP), while striking out 224 batters. He was 3-6, 5.15 in 46 games (5 starts) at Triple-A.
