The school was known as Presbyterian Junior College until 1958 and St. Andrew's Presbyterian College until 2011. In 2012, the school merged with Webber International University and transitioned from NCAA's division II down to the NAIA. In April 2025, it was announced that St Andrews would close at the end of the Spring 2025 semester.
