Springwells Township, MI
Springwells Township was formerly located in southeastern Michigan on the Detroit River, west of downtown Detroit, MI. It was partly annexed by Detroit in 1884, and in 1925 the remainder of the township became part of Dearborn, MI, although the "Springwells" name remains used in some local features. Burns Park, where the Detroit Tigers played Sunday home games in 1901 and 1902 to avoid blue laws in Detroit, was located here.
