Biographical Information

Shuhei Takimura signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1959, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first three seasons. He completed a no-hitter against the Kintetsu Buffaloes in the minors in 1962, and he pitched 2 games with a 9.00 ERA for the top team. Takimura didn't reach the big club in 1963, and he announced his retirement.
