Biographical Information

Shu Kubo has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Kubo was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 7th round of the 2022 NPB draft; the scout was Tomoya Sayashi. He hit .190/.236/.241 in 61 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2023, and he was 1-for-17 with the top team in 2024. Kubo missed most of the 2024 season due to left calf injury. He recorded a .232/.298/.277 batting line in 85 games in the minors in 2025, and he had a 2-for-13 record with the big club.
