Biographical Information

Shota Fukushima was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 4th round of the 2020 NPB draft; the scout was Kei Nomoto. However, he suffered from a left shoulder injury, so he only pitched 4 games with a 13.50 ERA in 2023 before he announced his retirement in 2024 (he did go 7-10 in 74 games in the Japanese minors during his career).
