Biographical Information

Shonosuke Hama has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Hama played for the Kochi Fighting Dogs from 2019 to 2021, and he moved to the Fukui Nexus Elephants in 2022. He hit .315/.439/.521 with 37 steals in Fukui, and he was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 5th round of the 2022 NPB draft; the scout was Shigeki Oto. Hama was the last player to be drafted from Fukui since the team dissolved after 2022. He hit .205/.259/.256 in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2023, and he improved to .250/.345/.337 with 14 steals in 2024. Hama then recorded a .258/.348/.355 batting line in 2025, and he was 1-for-4 with the big club.
