Biographical Information

Shoji Edo signed with the Hanshin Tigers in 1963, and he only got one at-bat for the big club in his first four seasons. He was 4-for-14 in 1968, and he went 3-for-13 in 1969. Eda played 28 games with a 3-for-14 record in 1970, but he only had 4 at-bats in 1971 and he announced his retirement.
