Biographical Information[edit]
Shinichiro Inoue signed with the Kokutetsu Swallows in 1950, and he hit .233/.282/.308 in 80 games in his first season, backing up Kazuo Usami behind the dish. He had a .273/.273/.345 batting line in 44 games in 1951, and he played 66 games with a .223/.284/.255 batting line in 1952. Inoue recorded a .228/.253/.304 batting line in 44 games in 1953, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Inoue hit .235/.275/.300 with 94 hits in 4 seasons in NPB.
