Biographical Information[edit]
Seisaburo Yamada signed with the Kintetsu Buffaloes in 1952, and he went 10-for-62 in his first season. He only played 2 games combined in the next two seasons, and he hit .213/.260/.234 in 34 games in 1955. Yamada's batting line was .135/.224/.156 in 1956, and he played a career-high 96 games with a .196/.273/.276 batting line in 1957. He struggled again in 1958 as his batting line was .176/.288/.196, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Yamada hit .179/.253/.237 with 86 hits in 6 seasons in NPB.
