Biographical Information

Satoshi Oyama was drafted by the Orix Buffaloes in the 8th round of the 2013 NPB draft; the scout was Shogo Makita. He mainly stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first three seasons, and he only pitched 5 innings for the big club. Oyama then notched 6 holds with a 3.46 ERA in 32 relief outings in 2017, but he had a 5.06 ERA in 6 games in 2018 and he announced his retirement.
