Biographical Information

Satoru Takashima signed with the Chunichi Dragons in 1987, and he only pitched 6 games combined in his first three seasons. The Dragons traded him with Tadashi Sugimoto to the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks for Kazuhiro Yamauchi in the middle of the 1990 season, and he was 1-3 with a 3.79 ERA in the rest of the season. Takashima had a 5.97 ERA in 18 relief outings in 1991, and he announced his retirement in 1992.
