Biographical Information[edit]

Saskia Davies debuted for the Great Britain women's national team in the 2025 European Women's Championship. She was their starting center fielder. In their opener against defending champ France, she hit cleanup. She singled off Camille Foucher to drive in Laura Hirai in her first plate appearance and finished the day 4-for-4 with 3 runs, 3 RBI and two steals. While she was not as dominant in their other three games, she hit .412/.412/.412 with 4 runs, 6 RBI and 5 steals (not caught) overall, including two hits in the title game win over Czechia to give Britain its first European Women's Championship title and a trip to the 2026-2027 Women's Baseball World Cup. For the event, she tied Diane Simon and Silvie Hanzalová for 9th in runs, was 3rd in hits (one behind Kateřina Marková and Claury Scatliffe), was second in RBI (2 behind Hanzalová), tied Tereza Stejspalová for 5th in total bases and 5th in steals. She handled four putouts error-free. [1]
