Biographical Information

Ryuya Matsumoto has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Matsumoto was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 5th round of the 2021 NPB draft; the scout was Tomofumi Matsumoto. He pitched 50 games with a 3.26 ERA in his first season, but he only got 13 appearances with a 4.35 ERA in 2023. Matsumoto had a 2.84 ERA in 12 games in 2024.
