Biographical Information

Ryutaro Hatsuki has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Hatsuki was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 7th round of the 2018 NPB draft; the scout was Kei Tamura. He hit .300/.322/.323 with 23 steals in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2019, and he was 2nd in steals in the Western League (3 behind Yusuke Masago). Hatsuki then hit .349/.391/.396 in the minors in 2020, and he had a 6-for-33 record for the top team. He played 23 games with a .255/.309/.353 batting line in 2021, and he hit .245/.276/.340 in 44 games in 2022. Hatsuki slumped to .149/.216/.170 in 50 games (47 at-bats) in 2023 with 14 steals, and he was 4th in steals in the Central League (between Hidetaka Namiki and Yuki Okabayashi). Hatsuki then collected 12 steals with a 5-for-22 record in 2024, and he ranked 5th in steals (tied with Naoki Yoshikawa). He recorded a .295/.373/.352 batting line in 74 games with 17 steals in 2025, and he tied Okabayashi for 5th in steals.
