Biographical Information

Ryuku Tsuchida has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Tsuchida was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 3rd round of the 2020 NPB draft, and he went 2-for-5 in his first season. He replaced Yota Kyoda to became Chunichi's starting shortstop in July 2022, and he played 62 games with a .248/.283/.290 batting line. Tsuchida recorded a .187/.233/.223 batting line in 114 games in 2023, but he missed most of the 2024 season due to a right knee injury; he went 7-for-44 in 17 games.
