Biographical Information[edit]
Ryuki Nemoto was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 6th round of the 1991 NPB draft, and he only played 16 games combined in his first six seasons for the big club. He was 2-for-22 in 1998, and he finally got some chances in 1999. Nemoto recorded a .287/.316/.396 batting line in 71 games that season, but he only got 8 at-bats before the Fighters traded him to the Hanshin Tigers for Yoshiya Takeuchi. He hit .284/.293/.321 in 43 games in 2000, and he went 4-for-21 in 2001. Nemoto didn't reach the big club in 2002, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Nemoto hit .248/.275/.335 with 80 hits in 7 seasons in NPB.
