Biographical Information

Ryui Itoh has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Itoh played for the Oisix Niigata Albirex Baseball Club in 2023, and he was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 5th round of the 2023 NPB draft; the scout was Taiji Maruyama. He only got one at-bat for the big club in 2024, and he played 87 games with a .207/.254/.310 batting line in 2025. A glove-first shortstop, he fielded .991.
