Biographical Information

Ryosuke Ogata was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 6th round of the 2012 NPB draft, and he mainly stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first season; he only played 2 games for the top team. He hit .246/.358/.386 in 28 games in 2014, but he didn't reach the big club in 2015. Ogata went 4-for-24 in 2016, and he stayed in the minors before he announced his retirement in 2018. The outfielder had batted .220/.304/.329 in 95 PA in NPB and .263/.329/.379 in 482 games in the minors. His six triples in 2017 tied Yuma Mune for second in the Western League.
