Royal Rookies

From BR Bullpen

Royal Rookies was a short-lived baseball card brand that printed sets in 2000 and 2001. The sets featured prospects and minor league baseball players. One novelty of the brand was that they sold hobby boxes that offered one autograph per pack. Though the company is largely forgotten, their 2000 "Futures" set featured one of Miguel Cabrera's first baseball cards, including an autographed version; as a result, hobby boxes from that year, specifically, sell for a premium.
