Roberto Thüringer

Roberto Thüringer was on the German national team in three events. In the 1984 B-Level European Championship, he was 5-for-9 with a walk, 3 runs and 2 RBI, handling four chances error-free; he did not fare as well on the hill with a 0-1, 11.37 record and 3.47 WHIP, though he did save a game. He was 1 for 7 in the 1987 European Championship, going 0-2 with a 8.10 ERA. During the 1989 European Championship, he hit .273/.333/.273, fielding .917, with two runs and two RBI in five games. He was 0-1 with a 12.60 ERA. Through 2010, he was tied with André Hughes for 6th in team history in losses.
