Biographical Information

Rintaro Tsujimoto has played in Nippon Pro Baseball. His brother Yuki Tsujimoto played for the Japanese national team.

Tsujimoto represented Japan in the 2022 Haarlem Baseball Week, going 4 for 13 with a double, two runs and three RBI and fielding .923 at third. He won the Carl Angelo Award as the most popular player in the event. He was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 3rd round of the 2023 NPB draft; the scout was Tomoya Yagi. Tsujimoto debuted against the Yakult Swallows on April 17, 2024, and he got his first career hit on September 7 against Sotaro Shimauchi. He was 3-for-18 in his first season, backing up Mikiya Tanaka at 2B. He spent most of the season in the minors.
