Biographical Information

Rinshiro Shimamura has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Shimamura played for the Kochi Fighting Dogs from 2023 to 2024, and he was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 2nd round of the development phase in the 2024 NPB draft. He hit .266/.314/.324 in 58 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2025, and he made his NPB debut on April 16, 2026 against the Yomiuri Giants.
