Biographical Information

IF/OF Rikuu Nishida was born and went to high school in Japan before moving to the United States to attend Mount Hood Community College. He then moved to the University of Oregon in 2023, from where he was drafted in the 11th round of the 2023 amateur draft by the Chicago White Sox.

He made his major league debut for the White Sox on May 25, 2026, starting in right field and batting ninth against the Minnesota Twins. He went 1 for 3 in a 3-1 win.
