Biographical Information

Riku Kawahara was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 5th round of the 2018 NPB draft, and he only pitched one game for the big club (throwing a shutout inning) before he announced his retirement in 2025. He had gone 7-14 with 3 saves and a 4.53 ERA in 108 games in ni-gun.
