Biographical Information

Reia Nakachi has pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Nakachi was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the first round of the 2022 NPB draft, and he debuted against the Yakult Swallows on May 13, 2023. He got his first win against the Yokohama BayStars on July 26, and he ended up 2-5 with a 4.98 ERA in his rookie year. Unfortunately, Nakachi suffered from a right foot injury in 2024, so he only pitched one game in that season.

Nakachi's repertoire included a fastball (peak 94.4 mph), changeup, curveball, cutter, slider and forkball.
