Biographical Information[edit]

Reggie Williams was the regular center fielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1986.

He is not to be confused with another Reggie Williams who played with the Dodgers in 1995. There have also been two NFL players and one NBA player of the same name.

He attended the Southern University and A&M College, a couple of decades after Lou Brock went there. He was honored at graduation for having the highest GPA in the Athletic Department.

He played in the minors with the Lethbridge Dodgers and elsewhere in the Dodgers' organization, and hurt his shoulder badly during winter ball.

After baseball he earned two Master's Degrees and became an Assistant Principal in Memphis, TN. Williams was the vice president of community relations with the Memphis Redbirds from 1997-2009. He became a coach with the Milwaukee Brewers as a roving outfield and baserunning coordinator from 2010-2013. He was then a coach for Brevard County Manatees in 2014-2015 and Helena Brewers in 2016. He was then bench coach of the Greeneville Reds in 2018-2019.
