Biographical Information[edit]
Pol Llopis pitched for the Spanish national team.
Llopis appeared twice for Spain in the 2007 Baseball World Cup; he debuted against Italy, closing out a 11-1 loss. He followed Yoel Hernandez on the hill and did far better than his Cuban predecessor, yielding one run in two innings on two hits and four walks. His other game was against Mexico, giving up 4 runs in 2 1/3 IP; his 10.38 ERA finished 5th on their 10-man staff. [1] He was the top pitcher for CB Viladecans in 2010 (7-6, 3.23). [2]
