Biographical Information[edit]

Petar Juričić has played for the Croatian national team.

At age 15, he was with Vindija Varazdijn for the 2018 Federations Cup, allowing three runs in one inning and going 0 for 2. [1] He was better in the 2019 CEB Cup, allowing one run in five; he was 0 for 6 at the plate. [2] He was Croatia's second-youngest player at the 2021 European Championship, as only Benjamin Paulić was younger. He played in five of their six games, but usually only as a pinch-runner. Against Germany, he ran for Petar Rumora and scored on a single by Jose Herrera, but did not stay in the game. Versus the Ukrainian national team, he ran for Andrija Tomić and was doubled in by Herrera; when he came up later in a high-scoring inning, he was lifted for pinch-hitter Marin Tadić. The next day, he replaced Antonio Horvatić in right field in a loss to Spain. He ran for Rumora against Italy and scored on a Herrera sac fly, giving him three runs in three games as a pinch-runner, each time driven in by the same player. He pitched against the Czech national team, relieving Karlo Kos with a 15-2 deficit in the bottom of the 6th. It was a rough outing. He walked Vojtěch Menšík then Martin Zelenka reached on an error. Matěj Menšík singled to make it 16-2 and he intentionally walked Petr Zýma to load the bags. He then walked Martin Schneider to force in a run, ending the game due to the mercy rule. [3]
