Biographical Information

Pitcher Paul Kometani (also known as Kea Kometani) was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 15th round of the 2005 Amateur Draft out of Pepperdine University. He made his debut in their farm system that summer and remained with them until 2009, having made it as high as AAA.

He is listed under the fake name "Peter Kazanskii" in MLB 2K8, as 2K Sports did not have the rights to use real minor leaguers anymore at that point in time, so they were listed under aliases with the initials matching up with their actual ones.
