Biographical Information

Osamu Katsumata was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 9th round of the 1970 NPB draft, and he was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 1971 active draft. Katsumata only played 2 games in 1972, and he didn't return to the big club before he announced his retirement in 1981.
