Biographical Information[edit]
Ortiz Sadang has been on the Palauan national team. It is unclear if he is related to former team members Royce Sadang and Raynold Sadang.
He was the Defensive Player of the Year in the Palau Major League in 2024. [1] The teenager debuted for Palau in the 2025 Pacific Mini-Games, pinch-running for Dion Sadao but being caught stealing. His first hit was off Fiji's Anare Baleinabuli to drive in Dusty Etpison. Splitting time at short, he hit .300/.417/.400 with 4 RBI in 4 games, fielding .786, as Palau won the Gold Medal. He tied for 6th in RBI despite his part-time role, but also tied for third in errors. [2]
