Biographical Information

Nobuyuki Fujii was drafted by the Lotte Orions in the 4th round of the 1969 NPB draft, and he was 0-for-4 in 1971. He went 7-for-35 in 1972, and he was traded to the Taiheiyo Club Lions for Kazuo Kai. Fujii was 4-for-28 in 1973, and he played 48 games with a .219/.311/.352 batting line in 1974. He stayed in the minors in 1975, and he announced his retirement.
